We consulted with Front Runner Learning Centres regarding how they could use social media as part of an overall marketing strategy.  Social media is a two way conversation between your small business and an interested group.

It is far more than just putting up a facebook page. Every channel has it’s own feel and culture.  You don’t have to be on every social media channel to have an effective social media strategy.  It realises on identifying your customers and find where they are using.

It is important to remember that when people are using social media they are in a conversation mode and don’t want to be sold something.  We show you how to engage with your customers and potential customers when they are not in a buying mode.

You can also use social media as a way of finding out what issues are important to your potential customers.  It can also be used to identify customer groups.  There are simple automated tactics that grow you an audience of real people.

The most important aspect is to never stray from your promise.  When you start building a following no matter what channel you choose it is important to be consistent with what you do.
